Fresh from the body shop and looking fine.

Last night I followed John over to Lemass Bodyshop in Chalfont to drop-off his R33. The car came over from Japan with a fake DTM style filler cap on the boot. After removing it, John was left with a dirty great hole in the bodywork and a nice excuse to get a flushed tailgate.
I can’t wait for Friday as the MR2 goes into Lemass for its surgical enhancements too !

The project fat boy has progressed a little further this week. A custom tank for the meth/water injection has been built and lined up in the car for final fitment.
It won’t be long before the car is finally on the road and shredding rubber on the asphalt.

With the financial Armageddon that is looming over our heads, I thought it would be a good idea to splash out on some nice new carbon-fibre trim for the Toyota.
I brought this gear-gaiter surround from Ben at Carbenfibre Creations – it was a simple fit and took as long as boiling the kettle for my cuppa tea.
I’m sure that it weighs 0000.1 grams less than the original plastic, so i’m guessing it will save me 00000.0001 seconds off my 0-60time – jokes.
